Greetings Ladies,

2012...Wow!  A brand new year and brand new opportunities...what a blessed people we are!

I am excited about some up and coming things that the Lord has in store for us this year.  I hope you are too.  Last year we started using a different format in our monthly meetings, we concentrated more on study and a little less on food and fun.  It was a real blessing.  Our meetings became a place and time of renewal.  I believe as a group, we grew in the Lord and as friends and Sisters in Christ, we grew closer together.

I am even more excited about our studies we will be involved in this year.  It will be a little deeper study and a little more work, but, we can do it and, as we do it, the Lord will honor our efforts and I believe we will begin to see even more growth!

Other changes are coming as well.  We will be having a few more outings and we have been asked to find and adopt a local home mission project by our Pastor.  So we need to all be in prayer, roll up our sleeves and be ready to get busy!  There are also some areas in the church that need our attention so we will be tackling a few of them too.  We will be discussing a lot of changes and options at this first meeting so make sure you attend!  Get in the loop!

 January Meeting

Our first meeting of the New Year will be January 30th at 6:30pm.  Your assignment is to bring someone with you.

New Bible Study

This year we will be studying, "The Bad Girls of the Bible".  It is a very thought provoking study on different women in the Bible that messed up and messed up bad!  We can learn from their mistakes as we journey to grow in God and grow in the Word!

Jezebel...Lot's wife...Delilah.  Oh, those bad girls!  What's a good girl to do?  Learn from their mistakes!

Higgs' humourous contemporary retelling of stories about 10 of the "baddest" women in the Bible shows you how not to handle life's challenges.
