Rev. Todd and Marina Turner
Sr. Pastors
Rev. Todd Turner is celebrating 22 years in the ministry with the Pentecostal Church of God. He has served tenures in several churches in both Oklahoma and Texas and has a vision to see the Gospel message spread throughout northeastern Oklahoma and the world.
In 2006 he, along with other church members spearheaded the movement to begin a new work in the small community of Fort Gibson, OK. What began as a small service in the home of John and Joyce Mayo has quickly grown into one of the largest and most active churches in our community and its still growing.
Pastor Todd is known in our community by some as the motorcycle preacher as he is often seen zooming through town on his blue motorcycle. He enjoys watching NASCAR and is an avid Texas Longhorns fan but we don't hold that against him!
Sister Marina Turner wears many hats in our church but is mostly known as our highly anointed Praise and Worship leader. She also serves as the women's ministries director and is a key player in the Wednesday Super Church program. Each year the church eagerly stands by and waits to see what she will present as our next Christmas program as she spends many hours yearly writing and directing our humorous but spiritual Christmas plays.
Sister Marina enjoys watching science fiction movies and has been known to watch Sponge Bob Square Pants even when the grandkids aren't around. She also enjoys spending time with her grandkids and raising Boxer Bulldogs with her husband.
Rev. Daniel and Julie MillerThe desire of Bro. and Sis. Miller is to make known to every student that Jesus Christ loves them and gave His life for their salvation. They believe there is an outpouring of the Spirit of God coming to the youth. They want to challenge each student to serve the Lord more eagerly as well as expose them and train them in the truth of His word.
Bro. Daniel is a minister with the Pentecostal Church of God with exhorter creditials and enjoys spending time with his family, especially his son Caleb. His also enjoy the outdoors, fishing and hunting and most sports, especially football.
Sister Julie is a teacher at Okay Elementary School. She is very close to her family and enjoys spending time with them in the outdoors or just hanging out. She loves making others happy even though she may seem quiet and timid.
Bro. and Sis. Wahl enjoy working with kids at Trinity
Family Worship, and they consider them not just the “future church”, but an
important part of the church body today.
They both desire to make the Bible real to children, and for them to see
the scriptures as more than just stories, but as real people who lived, and events
that really happened. Their hope is
that the seeds that are planted in Children’s Church will grow, and that the
kids continue to serve Jesus throughout their lives. They both like to have fun, and want the
children’s church program to have a good balance of learning, fun, and
activities. Bro. and Sis. Wahl also like
for the kids to be involved in the church.
Sister Georgia is a long time resident of Fort Gibson,
and answered the call to teach in 1985.
She began as a Sunday School teacher, and later got involved in Children’s
Church. She has been with Trinity
Family Worship since its inception, and was asked to help establish the
children’s ministries there. She
currently coordinates and teaches (along with her husband, David) the Sunday
“Trinity Kids” Children’s Church services at Trinity Family Worship.
Besides working with kids, Sis. Georgia enjoys spending
time with her husband, shopping at dollar stores, playing electronic yahtzee,
and computer work. She also enjoys
watching football, and is an OU Sooners fan.
This results in a good natured rivalry since her husband roots for the
OSU Cowboys!
Bro. David has many interests, including cars, guitars, eBay,
and reading. He has also been with
Trinity Family Worship since its beginning, and has been involved in children’s
ministry since 2006. The Trinity Kids
love Brother David, and especially like to do the song “Dance Like David”,
where they imitate Brother David’s “dance moves.”!
Married in August of 2006, theirs was the first wedding at Trinity Family Worship.
